UN World Food Programme: nine countries

The story

UNHAS is the air service aid workers use where airlines don't fly and roads aren't safe. WFP runs it and leases aircraft from operators like ALS to do it. Over the years we've supplied four aircraft types to UNHAS in nine countries, from the Sahel to the Horn of Africa.

The work. Aid workers, medical teams and light cargo, on scheduled UNHAS routes and on short-notice flights when a crisis starts.
